Mike Senisi has been involved with youth, high school and collegiate sports for over 30 years. As a former player at SUNY Cortland, collegiate soccer coach at Cazenovia College, founder/director of youth sports programs, high school athletic director, and a high school lacrosse coach, he understands the true significance of proper instruction and development at every age level. Mike’s undergraduate degree was obtained from SUNY at Cortland and earned a Master's degree from Oregon State University. He continued his educational career at Johns Hopkins University where he received his graduate certificate in School Administration and Supervision.
Mike has been with the Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) for over 28 years and is currently the Athletic Director at Atholton HS. He has served in many additional roles with HCPSS including assistant principal at Swansfield Elementary School, Instructional Facilitator for Physical Education, interim Coordinator of Athletics, and an Adapted Physical Education teacher. Mike has been recognized as a Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers by the National Academic Affairs Division, as well as the Adidas MD State Coach of the Year, twice. With Mike’s experience and knowledge of the game, he is a true asset to the Zingos and The Academy lacrosse programs.
